I know my way around this stuff. But I'll never pretend I know it all.
I'm a pilot, a generator specialist, and I've spent years working on cars, engines, electrical systems, and machines.
Some of that came from work and studying. A lot of it I taught myself. I read, take things apart, test things, make mistakes, fix them, and keep going until I understand what's actually happening.
That's just how my brain works. I think about things. A lot.
Why does this work that way? Could I do it better myself? Where am I wasting power? What would actually keep my house running for a week? Is that expensive battery worth it? Is everyone repeating the same advice because it's true, or because nobody bothered to question it?
One question usually turns into ten, and before I know it, I'm three hours deep into something I wasn't even thinking about yesterday.
Eventually, I realized I needed somewhere to put all of it.
That became OffGrid Pilots.
A place to write down what I know, what I'm learning, what I'm questioning, and what I think is worth passing on.
I know a lot about this stuff. I still have plenty to learn.
